Amy - Founder & CEO
From a young age, Amy demonstrated a deep passion for horses—particularly those in need of care and compassion.
Her dedication to rescuing neglected, abused, and abandoned horses grew into what is now All4hoovesWA Equine Rescue Sanctuary Inc., a respected organisation committed to equine welfare and rehabilitation.
In addition to her leadership role at the rescue sanctuary, Amy works as a support person for individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
She is also a dedicated respite carer for a teenager with autism and serves as a foster mother to a vibrant four-year-old. Amy's work—both professionally and personally—is rooted in compassion, resilience, and a strong commitment to community and animal welfare.

Peta-Jayne - Secretary
Peta-Jayne has been a passionate supporter of All4hoovesWA, adopting one of the sanctuary's older horses to serve as a companion to her own horse in Denmark, as well as another 25-year-old rescue horse from a Denmark family who had to move away a few years ago.
With 25 years of experience in the oil & gas and mining industries, Peta has held roles in clerical work, logistics, report writing, and public speaking. She held roles in clerical work, logistics, report writing, and public speaking. She also brings a wealth of expertise in administration and events management.
In addition to her professional background, Peta actively volunteered as Secretary for the Denmark Dragon Boat Club for approximately 2 years and served as a Relief Volunteer Secretary for the Denmark Horsepower Club.
Peta is eager to contribute to the growth and public awareness of “All4hoovesWA, furthering its mission and expanding its impact within the community.”

Julie - Administration
Julie has been a steadfast supporter of her daughter Amy’s mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome horses in need.
Her involvement with All4hoovesWA is driven by both family connection and a shared commitment to animal welfare.
In recognition of her relationship to the President, Julie has transparently declared a potential conflict of interest, which has been formally acknowledged and approved by the Board of Directors.
With over 30 years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse and 5 years in administration and having owned and ridden horses in her younger years, Julie brings a wealth of practical knowledge, compassion, and organisational skills to her role.
Now retired, she devotes her time and energy to supporting the rescue sanctuary's operations and administrative needs.

Sarah - Second Bank Signatory
Sarah is a dedicated mother who home schools her son and shares a strong passion for equine activities.
Sarah and her son have taken riding lessons over the past few years under Amys watchful eye, deepening their understanding of horse care and connection.
Sarah also serves as the second signatory on our organisation’s bank account, supporting the governance and financial accountability of our operations.

Jolene - Grant Writer
Jolene is a farm business owner with over a decade of experience and a strong background in agronomy. She previously worked as an Agronomist with Elders and served as a seed manager for ten years.
Jolene has extensive leadership experience in the not-for-profit sector, having spent five years on the board of the Fitzgerald Biosphere Group in Jerramungup, including three years as Chairperson, and two years as Chairperson of the Ongerup Women in Farming group.
Her deep understanding of agricultural communities, board governance, meeting facilitation, and grant writing adds valuable capacity and insight to our organisation.

Sarah - Board Member
Sarah worked in administration at Smith Aluminium on Monck Lane and brings a diverse background in animal welfare, sales, and marketing.
She previously volunteered with an equine rescue in Perth, where she cared for sick, neglected, and abused horses, and is also an active member of Healing Hands Wildlife.
A long-time supporter of our sanctuary and a horse owner herself, Sarah contributes valuable insight into community engagement, animal care, and strategic promotion of our mission.

Jacki - Board Member
Jacki brings more than 40 years of hands-on experience in the equine industry, giving her deep practical knowledge and a strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by horse owners and related organisations. In addition to her equine background, she works in the trucking and earthmoving sector, adding valuable operational and logistical insight.
Jacki is a proven leader with a long history of contributing to local initiatives. Her combination of industry expertise, practical problem-solving skills, and strong community engagement makes her a highly effective and well-rounded board member.

Keely - Board Member
Keely has been involved with horses her entire life, developing her skills through pony club and competitive riding.
She currently works in the yearling sales division at Willaview Stud (formerly Mungrup Stud), where she is actively involved in working horses and handling yearlings, foals, and broodmares. Her practical experience across multiple aspects of stud operations gives her a well-rounded understanding of the equine industry.
In addition to her equine expertise, Keely is a qualified aged-care giver and holds a heavy vehicle pilot licence, demonstrating her versatility, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
Her diverse skill set and lifelong passion for horses make her a valuable contributor to the board.
