At All4hoovesWA Equine Rescue Sanctuary Inc., we are committed to providing safety, care and rehabilitation for horses and ponies affected by neglect, abuse, abandonment or surrender.
Every equine that comes into our care is treated as an individual. We provide a safe environment, tailored rehabilitation and ongoing support to help them recover physically and emotionally.
Our work is hands-on and ongoing, with our team and volunteers dedicating countless hours to ensuring each horse receives the care, patience and compassion they need.
For horses suitable for adoption, our goal is to prepare them for a safe and appropriate new home. For those who cannot be rehomed due to age, health, trauma or other circumstances, we provide lifelong sanctuary.

About Us
All4hoovesWA Equine Rescue Sanctuary Inc. is a grassroots equine welfare organisation based in Western Australia’s Great Southern region.
Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated people who share a commitment to animal welfare, compassion and community service. Together, we work to provide vulnerable horses and ponies with safety, rehabilitation and the opportunity for a better future.
Our organisation is governed by a volunteer Board, which provides oversight, governance and strategic direction to ensure All4hoovesWA operates responsibly, transparently and in accordance with its charitable purpose.
Our Founder and CEO, together with the leadership team, coordinates the day-to-day work of the rescue, including horse welfare, rehabilitation, volunteer coordination, community partnerships, fundraising and the ongoing development of the organisation.
At the heart of All4hoovesWA is our dedicated team of volunteers. Volunteers support virtually every part of our work, including feeding and caring for horses, cleaning paddocks and facilities, assisting with rehabilitation, property maintenance, fundraising, administration, events, education and community outreach.
Every person who contributes their time, skills or support plays an important role in what we do.

Our Mission
Our Commitment to Ethical, Compassionate Equine Care
Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, retrain and rehome horses and ponies who have experienced neglect, abuse, abandonment, surrender or other circumstances that place their welfare at risk.
We are committed to providing every equine with compassionate, individualised care that supports their physical health, emotional wellbeing and long-term quality of life.
Where appropriate, horses are rehabilitated and prepared for responsible rehoming. Those who are not suitable for adoption due to age, health, behavioural needs or other circumstances are provided with lifelong sanctuary and care.
Our work extends beyond the horses within our sanctuary. Through education, advocacy, responsible ownership initiatives and community engagement, we aim to improve equine welfare across the wider community.
We believe meaningful change happens through compassion, education and collaboration.
With the support of our volunteers, donors, partners and wider community, we can continue providing vulnerable horses and ponies with safety, dignity and a genuine second chance.
Our history
All4hoovesWA Equine Rescue Sanctuary Inc. is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing lifelong sanctuary, when we have the room, for horses and ponies in need, including those who have experienced abuse, neglect, abandonment, or surrender.
Our journey began in 2014, when our founder, with her mother's support, quietly began rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming a small number of horses each year. What started as a family-led effort continued to grow as the need for equine welfare support within the community became increasingly evident.
In 2021, All4hoovesWA was formally established to provide a more structured approach to equine rescue and welfare. The organisation continued to develop over the following years before becoming All4hoovesWA Equine Rescue Sanctuary Inc., an incorporated charitable organisation, in June 2023.
Today, we are governed by a seven-member board who share a strong commitment to improving the lives of horses and ponies in need. All4hoovesWA Equine Rescue Sanctuary Inc. has been registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) since June 2023 (updating our ABN in April 2025) and has held Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status since April 2025.
Based in Western Australia’s Great Southern region, All4hoovesWA has grown into an important local equine welfare service. We work to restore the health, safety, trust and quality of life of every horse that comes into our care through appropriate veterinary treatment, rehabilitation, retraining and rehoming wherever suitable.
For horses who, due to age, health, trauma or other circumstances, are not suitable for rehoming, we provide a safe and caring lifelong sanctuary.
Alongside our direct rescue work, we are committed to promoting responsible horse ownership, improving equine welfare awareness and supporting the wider community through education, advocacy and collaboration. Our goal is not only to provide a second chance for individual horses, but to contribute to stronger and more sustainable equine welfare outcomes across the Great Southern, South West, Wheatbelt, Goldfields, Perth and Peel regions.
