In Memory - Honouring Those We Lose
One of the most challenging aspects of our rescue work is facing the reality that not every horse can be saved. Despite our best efforts, expert care, and all the love we pour into them, some arrive too late, too broken, or carrying illnesses and injuries that time cannot undo.
Every loss is deeply felt.
Every goodbye leaves a mark.
And every horse that passes takes a piece of our hearts with them.
These horses are not forgotten.
They are remembered in the quiet moments — the gentle nicker at feed time, the soft breath against a caretaker’s hand, the peace in their eyes when they finally knew safety, even if only for a short time. We hold onto the comfort that, for their final chapter, they were cherished, cared for, and surrounded by love.
At All4hoovesWA, we honour each precious life by continuing our mission with renewed purpose. Their stories remind us why rescue work matters. Their memory fuels our commitment to protect, heal, and fight for every horse who still needs us.
Though their time with us may be brief, their impact is everlasting.
They remain forever in our hearts.
